TED ED Lessons Worth Sharing
An extension of TED Talks, TED ED is a site which contains a large collection of lessons that cover a variety of subjects.

TED ED lessons are a free open resource. The lessons are created and submitted by individuals which then can be shared with online. Lessons can also remain private if the creator so wishes .

TED ED makes creating and sharing lessons easy. There is a plug and play template that is filled out for each lesson. The lesson starts with a YouTube video, then proceeds to a set of multiple choice or discussion questions that check for understanding of the video that the lesson is linked for. The next part of the lesson is an extension. Here, students can be directed to further investigate a topic by being asked to visit external links. Finally, there is a closing section, where any additional information or assignments can be posted.

Teachers can have their students login in to the lesson and their progress can be monitored and checked.
